Living space: 

The open plan living area extends the full width of the villa and comprises at one end, a fully fitted kitchen and at the other a sitting room area with Satellite/Smart TV. In between the two, the dining space is set up for 4 guests. The kitchen has quartz countertops and includes an oven, hob, microwave, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and water cooler; and is a well thought out and functional space. We have a wide variety of coffee makers, even including a Nespresso Machine (Capsules easily purchased at nearby Carrefour).

This level overlooks the pool patio and also adjoins the primary outdoor covered dining space, with lovely views, which serves 10.

Also on this main level is utility room (equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board) and a toilet/shower room.


First floor:

The first floor houses two ensuite bedrooms – one is a double and the other, two twins. Both face the ocean and have a large seaview balcony with seating that is perfect for morning coffee.  One of the ensuites has a shower and the other is equipped with a shower/tub.

Second floor:

The second floor is where the huge master bedroom (with ensuite and fireplace) resides. The master has a large full-length balcony with stunning views of the sea and comfortable seating from which to enjoy. There is also a workstation with a (very distracting) Mediterranean Sea view.

Also on this floor is a twin bunk-bed room with its own private balcony and view of the garden and sea.



The top level actually includes a 5th bedroom with one twin bed which can be used if a guest does not wish to share the bunk-bed room below. There is also a small kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge for your cold beverages, and a coffee maker. A door then leads out to the large roof terrace. Here you have unobstructed views of both the sea and the adjoining mountainside. On the rooftop there are sun loungers, parasols and a seating area from which to watch the sun set over the mountainside. There is also a potted lime tree as well as some other fruit plants on the rooftop as well.


Outside the villa:

The villa has a good-sized private pool with areas to sit and enjoy a cocktail while cooling off in the pool. There is also an option to heat the pool for shoulder seasons. The surrounding terrace has sun loungers and a convenient outdoor shower to rinse off before and after your refreshing swim. There are multiple seating areas with comfortable furniture in both sunny and shady areas. This includes a dining table for 10. A gas grill for your barbeque is included. The gardens are mature and there are many types of fruits and citrus trees. Bougainvillea covers the entire front and are a special focal point of interest.

  • The villa is fully air-conditioned and also has ceiling fans
  • Spare water tank is available
  • A welcome pack is provided on arrival
  • Daily pool cleaning and gardening services
  • For a small daily rate, pool can be heated on shoulder seasons
  • Pool towels are provided for guests' use
  • For stays in excess of 10 nights, full cleaning and linen change is carried out weekly (or more frequently by arrangement). The Villa rental price includes the cost of the normal usage of gas, electricity, water and these weekly cleanings
  • If staying for 10 nights or less, there is no mid-stay clean and linen change, although it may be possible to arrange one at additional cost if requested. Also, additional cleaning charges apply if staying for 6 nights or less
  • Local Babysitter/Childcare references can be provided
  • Inexpensive Crib and High Chair rental can be arranged
  • Important note regarding minimum requirement as stated. Please contact us if you require shorter stays so we may make an exception.

Villa Ohana is a mere 200m from the sea.

If you do wish to venture out, Kalamar has two Beach Clubs with platform sunbeds, watersports and diving facilities. It is less than 10 minutes walking to the famous Kalamar Beach Club and Kulube Beach Club is even closer. Both have excellent seaside dining.

Also, less than 5 minutes walking will bring you to Kalamar’s two neighborhood restaurants, House Café and Soothe Bistro & Pizza Cafe. All in all, there are 10 restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

If you want to dine- in or barbeque, it is also 5 minutes walk to shop at the new Carrefour Market and 12 minutes to Can Can market. They also provide delivery service as well.

If you wish to go to Kalkan Old Town for souvenir shopping, dining or the Thursday local market, remember that parking is extremely difficult to find in the summer, so an easy taxi ride is the recommended option. Taxi service is plentiful and inexpensive.

If you do bring your car, there is free on-street parking just beyond Villa Ohana.

If you do wish to walk, it is an honest 25 minute, mostly level, walk to the beginning of Kalkan Old Town. All along the way, along Kalamar Road, there are also many restaurants and bars to tempt you as well. Ask us for the best route to take....

Out the door and immediately to the right of Villa Ohana, is a dirt track through a sea side, olive grove which allows for a quiet morning walk. You may even pass the local shepherd and his grazing flock of sheep.
